Thoughts on the Text

So I started this new blog and I'm having a hard time getting it going. I sure could use some help.

Have you been there? If so, what did you like/not like? What should I change/improve? If not, then why not?

I know I have a group of readers here - what's keeping you from making the jump over there?

I had the same problem with my other blogs that I launched. Most of my "regulars" weren't interested. I decided on doing a round-robin sort of posting style, and then cross posting from my central blog. That way I could share some thoughts (infrequently) about certain topics on my original blog, but still have a separate space where new readers sympathetic to a certain branch of my interests could land.

That's sort of what I do with all my blogs, only one of them I have neglected horribly (a writing one). One I post on at least once a month (the old Summit blog), and the other at least twice a month (my main one). I need to post on my main one more often, but the other ones I don't feel as bad about not posting. I think, for me, the best thing about blogging is not feeling like I do it for other people, but for myself.

I think its like relationships. We have so many to keep up with that adding a new one either takes time or causes us to downsize.
