New Year's Resolution

I have decided that I need to read more scripture. It's just too important; there is power in the Word and I've been living without power in my life for too long. I can blame the lack of a routine caused by a move across the country, blah, blah, blah. No excuses.

So, in order to help me change I decided to re-tool a blog that I wasn't using and make posts about the text that I'm reading. One day, one post - so far so good. It would help me to stay motivated if you let me know what you think - comment on either blog, let me know that you read the new blog, whatever.

Also, I'm wanting to use this as a means of exploring scripture from a more emergent perspective - this is not intended to be a devotional thought, but rather the beginning of a discussion. I don't pretend to have all the answers, I just want to journey toward God. Let me know what you think. How could I improve? Is this something that is useful for more than just my resolution? How could it be made more useful?

Do you have any resolutions? Is there any way I can help you acheive your goals?

I'm on board to. My resolution is to eat healthier and get on Park Plaza church's challenge to read the Bible in 90 days (www.parkplaza.org)

Cool resolution. I have a resolution to write in a journal everyday. So far so good. I like your new blog, I will check it out occasionally.
