Deep ruminations, random thoughts . . .
C'mon it's a blog what did you expect?
stay strong. we love you. you're worth the wait!
Wow, the P-town blossoms are better than the celebrated cherry blossoms here. They're beautiful, and one of the eleventy billion things I miss about Portland. I can't beleive it's been 11 years since I've been in Portland. :(Good luck on the papers, careful you don't spark a fire from the brain cell friction!
James, I graded papers last night and am eagerly anticipating giving my Seminary students their 5 question, 3 hour final Thursday.I can honestly say I enjoy giving finals more than I did taking them. Jesus is right, it is more blessed to give than to receive. One day you too may experience the joy!Keeping you in prayer this week.:) Ron
Thanks for the thoughtful comment on my latest post. I responded to it there. Looking forward to more discourse. Adios & shalom...
I miss you and Portland too (and I don't mean Fred Allen's wife)
I miss Hoffa, and I mean Jimmy, not Portland. The real reason I'm here is because every time I see the word "gauntlet", I think of 'goblet', so I've convinced myself that a gauntlet is a shiny cup. Like the one that the Nazi guy chooses (unwisely, BTW) in Last Crusade. Certainly not the cup of a carpenter...I have chosen... wisely.
How long is the wait? I mean, I have never graduated before so I certainly have never gotten my masters. How long do you have left? Basically I want to know when you will bring your wife home to me...
'Member when James had time to update his blog? 'Member when James lived in Portland and not the Souf? 'Member?
Are you doooooooooooooone yeeeeeeeeeeeet?
