Walken

HOLY CRAP!*

This may be true, I have yet to verify this website. But if it is true . . . holy crap! I would totally vote for Christopher Walken for President. I approve of his politics, but most importantly: he doesn't need this. That's right, to me the primary qualification for presidential cantidates should be their lack for need/desire to be president. Too many people want to be president for power or because the are from a political family. But the ones who will do a good job, don't need it.

Apart from the rational reason, I really want to listen to Walken campaign. "This country have a fever, and the only cure--is me as president." Can't you just hear it? Oh, man--think about him sitting across the barganing table from world leaders--"Scootch closer, ambasador, I won't ask you a second time."

*I got this from a wicked-awesome-friend's blog.

I would vote for Walkin because no one would mess with Walkin, he is by far one of the scarriest folk to ever exist, and he danced in techno video. Can you imagine someone threatening to go to war with Christopher Walkin, he would just have to look at them and they would give up.

Babies, I put my pants on just like you, one leg at a time, only when my pants are on, I make gold records.

ok hmm I think he sucks first off he combs his hair back. Whoever is so uncreative they have to comb there hair backwards well doesn't deserve anything. Second I like te vote for someone who deosn't want the job. That worked in office space too. The guy that stopped carring got promoted....

...what does that mean?

Hey! Never question Bruce Dickenson!

As Douglas Adams says:

"Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job."

So no one who has been president should have been? He's British anyway. That comment should be under Rebecca Marie's President's Day post.

This is off the cuff, but maybe a good tag line could be..."Walken to the polls and vote for Walken"? No? Not very good? Ok, I'll start over. "Walken our country in the right direction" or "He's Walken and he's runnin' our country back to respectability". No? Still not a good one?
I give up.

actually after I read more on the website I know this is a fake because I've never agreed with a politician before on the majority of their platform.

So I was toolin' around on the internet late tonight, since the husband is working. I headed off to bed, then decided, "nah, not yet." Feeling nostalgic, I googled my old service club and ended up on Big Mike's blog. Quick scanning over his linkage, a name popped out at me. JAMES WOOD. I got all giddy and excited, and felt like I was 18 again. Clicked the linkage, and wouldn't ya know it, THERE'S JAMES! With an astoundingly beautiful wife!! And he blogs just the same way he used to write great letters! Yep, that's James!! :D

I miss you, friend! It's so good to see the pic of you and Andrea, you look so happy. I'd love to actually stay in touch this time. (Um, sorry about that! My bad!)

Hope to talk to you soon!

Blessings,
Meagan

Awesome! That is the most balanced logic I have ever heard.

Meagan, I'm stoked that you found my blog - you are now officially linked on mine (with all the rights and responsibilities appertaining thereto).

I heard that one one level, "these boots were made for Walkin."

you said "appertaining thereto"! you must have graduated from Cascade College!

and i am a wicked awesome friend! hooray!

i'd totally vote for walken . . . he does freak me out, but i'm just taking that to mean he wont be a pushover

(the term pushoever is defined very well in dr strangelove: "gentlemen, you can't fight in here! this is the war room!")

meh.
