Portland here we come?

So we are going to make a visit to our beloved West Coast next month and we would like to get down to Portland to see all the people we like there. We just don't want to make the trip if no one can hang out with us.

UPDATED INFORMATION So, we will be in Portland on Wednesday August 10th from 9am to 6pm.

We are willing to come visit you at work or meet for lunch or take a stroll in the park or whatever. Let me know. jtw78-at-hotmail-dot-com (or post yourself a comment).

Well... Are you by chance coming up to the Seattle area? Because I live in Seattle now and would love to see you guys! Eric and I are going to be in Portland on the 7th and 8th, and I'm going to be real mad if we come that close to seeing you, but don't actually get to.
p.s. I'm getting married in 66 days!!!

PJ: We'll staying in Tacoma from Wednesday August 10th to Sunday the 14th. Probably our best bet at seeing you is to do which ever day we are not going to Portland (Wednesday or Friday during the day). We have a family Barbecue on Saturday and we are flying out at 9:30 on Sunday.

OK. Well, I'm working in Renton, so if you guys could come out here, we could do coffee or lunch or something... Just let me know. You have my cell #, right?

anytime you're here I'll MAKE the time to see you two! just give us a nice amount of notice on the for sure dates.

i could organize a nice group get together at our NEW HOUSE so you could see lots of us at one time and make you visit more efficient...what do you think?

That sounds awesome to me, Breanna. I know Andrea wants to covet . . . er . . . I mean admire your house.

This is not a guarantee: I think we're leaning toward making the trip on Wednesday (still not a guarantee).

Ok, Southwest airlines has decided for us that we will get there at 8:55am on Wednesday the 10th. We can take the MAX from the Airport to . . . [fill in the blank with lots of fun] . . . and then we need to get on the train for Tacoma at 4:05pm. That's 7 hours of Portland Fun!

make that - get on the train at 6:15 - ooOOoo, two more hours of fun!

Hey Wood family. Long time no see. Glad you posted on my site--Lori and I visited yours a couple weeks ago and could not post on it.

How do you like HUGSR? You are a good student and I know you are doing well. I scanned your picture in the last Bridge and gave it to Shawn Jones.

I am at Pepperdine speaking and sure wondering if its possible to study when the scenery is like this. Maybe its good HUGSR doesn't have the same view!

Yeah, the summer here is full of crippling humidity and swarms of bugs - outside is best observed through television.

For all that we can find wrong with the climate and the city, we love the people and the church here in Memphis (not more than the people in Portland, don't worry). We have just been blessed to be welcomed into a church that is seeking the face of God.

The final word is that we will be at the airport as close to 8:55am as Southwest can manage and we will need to be at the train station down town pretty close to 5:30 (our train leaves at 6:15pm). The tickets have been purchased (non-refundable) - so we will do whatever we can in the time allotted.
